My Nephew Ben, in a "looking back" layout for I Scrap. They are having a contest that you have to complete 3 layouts from a list of prompts, the grand prize is a Xyron Wishblade! It's a long shot, but I had to give it a try.
Isn't this the cutest t-shirt ever!!! I bought it from Judy, she had made some totes with this design on them and I asked if she could make me a shirt. I had to wear today because I was going scrapbook shopping, everyone in the stores oohed and ahhed over it! Hubby's out of town so this is the best picture I could get of me wearing the shirt!

I saw this technique in Scrapbook Etc. Magazine. It doesn't show up very good with the pink ink but I think you get the gist of the idea. I put the clear stamp on the block backwards and made the pink impression, then put it on the right way and stamped the black.
This is how I made the road on my layout. I ran the toy truck tires over my ink pad and then on the paper. It would have been better to have a truck with bigger tires and more tread, but this was all I had. I think I'll look for a new toy truck on my next trip to the dollar store.

This is for Noel's color combination challenge, not colors that I would have put together...but I love them! Also, for my Scrap City wildcard challenge.
This challenge at Scrap City was to alter a canvas. I painted these, then stamped with acrylic paint and glued the ribbon around the edges. I thought they would look good in the playroom. I am certainly no artist, so rubber stamping with paint was the option for me!
This week's challenge at Scrap Your Crap was to use foam stamps. Not a problem, I have a ton of them that I haven't used in months. I used them for the letters and the sun. The "waves" I created with a what once was a corner stamp, I cut it into 2 pieces so it would look like waves! Dust off your old foam stamps and enter this week's challenge.
I stamped these note cards to include in RAKs and mail to my fellow scrappers. These Unity Stamps make the greatest impressions, far superior to any stamp I have tried before.
Doesn't she just look so happy holding me! My Granny passed away when I was 10 years old, but she sure packed a lot of love in those 10 years and I still think of her most everyday.
This is for a Baker's Dozen challenge over at Fiskateers. The layout had to include transparency (I used alcohol ink on a piece of transparency), circles, Thickers, Bling (I used Rain Dots), Rub on, 2 patterned papers, chipboard, buttons, flourish and a rubber duck! This was the perfect photo to include a rubber duck on the layout. I cheated a bit the flourish is a rub on and the Thickers are chipboard, but I just couldn't add anything else or I would have had too much!
The challenge this week at Scrap Your Crap was to use bling. I did a page for my play book, the scrapbook where I put just fun stuff, I used glitter, foil tape, bling and sequins! I put a thin coat of modge podge on the paper then covered it with glitter, tapped off the excess and once it was dry I sprayed a clear coat over the glitter to keep in place. I glued the sequins on by spreading a layer of glue over the glitter and just poured some sequins on top.
This it what I deal with every day! My scrap space is always a mess and some cat is always looking over my shouldler, sitting in my chair or laying on my the page that I am trying to work on! Most of the time it's Meg (she's the one behind me in this pic), Homer is my big fat cat that likes to sit in this chair...but once I sit down he is out of there! Homer was a rescue cat that was full grown when I got him so he is not so social. Meg is a rescue also, but we have had her since she was 5 weeks old so she is kinda clingy...doesn't like to be alone.
A fellow scrapper at Scrap City is compiling an 8X8 album to send with her daughter when she goes to school in the fall. I made this 2 page spread for her with 10 tips for college kids.
Here is the finished album. I used proof photos from a sitting done in 1990, these are the perfect size for a mini book and I had just enough photos to complete this 10 page album.

May sent me a set Kimberly Poloson papers, stickers, rub ons and brads about a month ago and asked me to complete some layouts to be featured this week. This layout was also created with that kit. The paper is really beautiful, some of it is flocked (I'm sure you can't tell that from the photo).
If you don't watch Food Network you probably don't have a clue who this is, but he is on several shows and was recently in Memphis promoting his new book. My Aunt and Uncle went to a book signing and although he doesn't look all that happy in this picture, they said he was really nice and that people from all over where there to see him.
