Honeymoon

We don't have many wedding or honeymoon pictures, we eloped to Lake Tahoe and my best friend flew in from Alaska to be the Best Woman/Maid of Honor, this picture is really dark but since I don't have many of us together I wanted to scrap it anyway.

I usually paint raw chipboard, but I left these squares the way they were and inked the edges, the color matched my sweater. I stitched the squares together with rickrack and the heart with ribbon. I did paint the heart and the arrow. I didn't need much journaling, so just wrote around the heart.

Hi Lisa! I think you did a great job with the last layout...not all pics are gonna be perfect with the lighting etc. They still deserve to be scrapped! LOVE your idea of getting rid of all those flowers. Our local little scrap store is gonna have a "garage sale" in the store where we can get rid of all the things we are tired of or have an excess of. I have a lot of things like that rofl. I will have to venture over to scrap your crap...love the title! Thanks for visiting. cherry

Hi Lisa,

I love this page! I wouldn't have thought to use ric rac as a thread! Great idea! I really like how you wrote around the heart too! I'll have to try that! TFS!!

Hi Lisa! Been awhile since I could "blog-surf" - VERY hectic work schedule of late - but I had to see what you've been up to. LOVE the chipboard and the journaling around the heart (the ink around the edge of the page is cool, too)! I'll have to come back more often - great ideas!
