Altered Candle Holder

Hobby Lobby has their candle holders 50% this week, so I paid $2.50 for this one. Scrap City's challenge this month was to alter a candle holder and this is what I can up with. I used green alcohol ink on the top portion, then alternated paper strips and ribbon from last year's Christmas stash, then tied ribbon with mini ornaments to the stem, used a gold paint pen on the rim and used red gems on the base. This would make a great hostess gift and it was really cheap to make.
