Doesn't she just look so happy holding me! My Granny passed away when I was 10 years old, but she sure packed a lot of love in those 10 years and I still think of her most everyday.
This layout was scraplifted from Misty's blog post on May 12th for a challenge at Scrap City. The challenge was to find a layout that you loved on someone's blog and "lift" it, of course Misty was gracious enough to give me her permission to copy her layout. I "made" these flowers by layering several different ones...some were silk from the dollar store, some were Primas and some were Heidi Swapp. This layout was inexpensive to make and really like the simplicity. I journaled on the back of the page, I do this when I have a lot to say and don't want to clutter my layout.

What an absolutely fantastic layout.
How funny-yesterday I posted a picture of me with my Grandma it was taken in the 60's and my Grandma has passed away too. It's be twenty some year. But she was a dear soul and sad that she had to leave this earth was too soon.
But, I love how you did this layout, cute idea with the flowers. Also you have many nice layouts on your blog, I've been a blog slacker lately. It's just a very busy time of the year for me, can't wait until June, a bit more free time.
Also, fabulous job on the ATC for Amy's swap, mine arrived today, it was fun seeing everyones cards. As for what I will do with them. I am planning on getting another ATC holder (by 7 gypsies) to put these cards on. I have one now that I used for the ones I make for challenges, but I need one for friends. So on my next visit to Mom's store, one of these holder will need to come home with me. If you want to see one, go to my blog, and click the ATC Store link - she has them and that is where my first one came from, she's a fast shipper.
Wow...I love this! I really love your doodled heart with the flowers and what a great photo! :)
