This layout has taken most of the day. I did the stitching around the layout by hand and I didn't realize how long that would take, once that was done the rest was easy. I used felt, vinyl and chipboard Thickers, I love these things! I punched the lacy border on the mat and then back it with real lace. I wanted a really girly layout for this sweet picture of Madeline when she was three years old.

I am suitably impressed with the detailed stitching on this. WOW! I also love the alternating alphas in the title -- very balanced & well done, indeed!
Very pretty! Great job on the stitching. I don't think I would have that kind of patience.
This is just wonderful! Holy moly, that stitching had to take a LONG time! It's fantastic! I have GOT TO get some vinyl thickers! Wow, they look GREAT!
I am so jealous when I see stitching on pages since I can't do that. Turned out beautiful too.
Oh and thanks for the tag :)
Beautiful layout! The stitching really sets it off!
What an awesome page, love that hand stitching, that was a lot of work, but the page is beautiful so would say it was worth it.
Love the layouts, and that is so cool that Tim Holtz commented on your blog....You better scrap that!!!
The stitching is awesome - great job!
I *love* the stitching on this page ... so intricate. Great job Lisa!
I am a big fan of hand stitching and this is GORGEOUS work!
I love the stitching too. I just got some of the Bazzill in Stitch'z and I'm LOVING playing with them (Without them I could never hand stitch straight enough).
